INKPEN - RIDE info - Bring sandwiches

Hi medium group The Inkpen route is approx 50km (several short cuts if required) with 1000m of climbing. Lovely route with a real mix of riding and great views plus a good workout before the Elan Valley for those going. Some of the uphills are on the road which should help with the climbing. The onl...

Re: Cycling the King Alfred's Way

Hi Dave

On Thursday we will be leaving the Premier Inn Farnham at 9.30 at the latest so if you could be there by 9.15 that would be great. This is a big days riding so we need to leave on time.

Re: Corfe Castle day ride - 15th May

Just a reminder that there are major road works at Ringwood. Not sure on the impact to traffic flow on a Sunday morning but worth thinking about adding some extra time.

Could be slow heading home too......

Re: Controversial or what? Ride leaders wanted!

If anyone wants to lead and needs a route then do not let that put you off there are several club members who could provide a route - either tried and tested or a new route.... either a paper copy or a gpx for use on a garmin.

Re: Controversial or what? Ride leaders wanted!

It would also be good to have some people who are prepared to lead a slower group to enable those who are new to mountain biking or just a bit slower than medium/medium-fast. pace. Roger and I have led such rides in the past and are prepared to lead some again but not every week.

Re: Cranborne ride 17th April - please notify us

I have a route for the medium group I might be a bit slow as doing a day ride on the IofW on Saturday so you might need to wait for me on the hills! The route is approx 20miles and we should get some glorious views over the Dorset Countryside. Hi Sally I'm sure you will be fine - will not be a fast ...
