Hello peeps,
I will be leading a medium-paced group on this ride. Please be aware that there are some big (long) climbs, so you do need to be quite fit and prepared for some hard work (or bring your e-bikes)! However the views are fantastic, so do bring your cameras.
Whilst this is billed as an all-day ride, the route I have planned is a figure of eight with the cross-over in Corfe (about a mile from our cars) at lunchtime, so if you wish you can call it a day at that point. The first loop is around 15 miles long and takes in Old Harry Rocks and the techy bits near the golf course, the second loop takes us to Kingston and Kimmeridge before a final woody single-track back to the cars. Total distance around 28 miles and over 3000ft of climbing.
We will start and finish as usual at Norden Park and Ride, see the Rides List for details.
Fingers crossed for great weather!
See you at the P&R, ready to ride at 10am.
Pen x

Sounds great thanks Pen. I am keen to join you. Just wondering what time you are meeting at the park and ride please? I have a long drive down so planning it out! Sal x

Hi Sal,
As per our usual policy, we are meeting at the start point (the Norden P&R) with the intention of a 10am ride-off (give or take 5 mins). Please note that you need to pay to park at Norden P&R.
Glad to hear you are coming, see you there!

I also hope to be there too but without Speedo's!

Just a reminder that there are major road works at Ringwood. Not sure on the impact to traffic flow on a Sunday morning but worth thinking about adding some extra time.
Could be slow heading home too......
