Stansted Park club ride, Sunday 29th May

Hey peeps,

Sadly Pam is no longer able to lead a medium group on this weekend's club ride from Stansted. (Hope you recover soon Pam)

Don't despair though, as Woodfloor Dave AND Towbar Dave have now stepped up to lead. If there are enough people, then there will be a sprightly medium paced group AND a less sprightly medium paced group, but if not, the Daves will jointly lead a group.

I'm gutted to be missing this ride as it's a beautiful area, a great route, and with both these guys out to play, it will be a cracking laugh!

Please note, the car park is the one near the North Entrance to Stansted Park. The car park's W3W address is: variously.saving.gossip. There is a HEIGHT BARRIER so van drivers may need to go up the road to the next nearest public car park. Please do your car park location research before you set off from home!

Hi everyone,

Just a heads up for anyone cycling tomorrow @ Stansted Park. Southdowns MTB Club are by coincidence also cycling @ Stansted Park at 9am tomorrow and they park in the Forest Main Avenue Car Park so it will be likely to be full. Don’t fret as there is lots of car parking at the “ South Estate”.

There is a car park further up Broadwalk (W3W....playing.defaults.initial) Hopefully there should be enough spaces between the 2 car parks for everyone.
I'll wait at the original car park for a 10ish start time.

Good evening looks like everything is covered regarding car parks, start times etc.

It’s certainly a beautiful area, stunning views weathers set fair so plenty of water, should be a pleasant ride,
Looking forward to seeing you all and catching up with a few old friends.

There’s a couple of nice local pubs if anyone wants to have a swift drink after.

Just in case anyone is checking the forum there is some parking at the original car park and spaces along the road, depending on how many turn up we should be ok..
