Hi All

We are now actively promoting a group designed for those members who are not looking for fast or fast-ish pace. This group is designed for those who want to join in on a ride where distance, speed, gradient and endurance are not the core objectives and is for those who do not feel comfortable at the pace to be found in most medium paced outings. This group will still tackle the trails but at a more relaxed pace with opportunities for stopping to admire the view or to have a break for a breather and a chat.

The feedback the committee has been getting is that there is a demand and an appetite for this style of approach to our regular Sunday outings, so if you are serious about it, then come along and join in.

Here's looking forward to seeing you join me at the start line.

I’ve not cycled in earnest for a few months as a result I’ve lost some fitness, Having taken welcome advice from Penni who recommended your slower pace group.

I’d like to return to Mtb cycling, I’m curious about joining your group,

I have had two goes at responding to your PM but each one has just evaporated when I pressed the send button and I cannot find a trace of them anywhere on the Newforce website or the PM section, so I will repond on this open forum and hope that you see it.

The next Gentler Ride option will be on 16th April starting at Linford Bottom just to the east of Ringwood. I hope to see you there.
