This year the summer BBQ ride will start and finish at The Ship Inn, Owslebury, near Marwell.
The riding from here is superb and will take in the rolling chalk downs and part of the South Downs Way with some lovely views to the Isle of Wight, and some secret sweet singletrack which only the locals know about
.The Ship Inn will be providing our post-ride BBQ in their huge outdoor garden, and to secure our booking with them, we need to know numbers.
For £15 per head you will get ONE of the following mains:
Beef burger with seeded bun
Grilled gammon steak with tomato and ginger ragu
Sweet potato & falafel burger (vegan)
PLUS you can help yourself to these sides:
Dill pickle and paprika potato salad
Mixed leaf salad
Spiced mixed bean cassoulet
Grilled corn on the cob
We can probably get some chips thrown in too!
Please indicate if you will be joining us for the post-ride BBQ AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and be prepared to part with £10 per head deposit in the coming weeks. Specifically, the pub needs to know how many vegans we have, so do state if you want the sweet potato and falafel burger.
