New Forest local walking and cycling infrastructure plan (LCWIP)

Post by MarkyW » Sun Oct 13, 2024 2:18 pm

Hello All,

In parallel to the proposal to improve the off-road cycle network there is a larger consultation in progress called the New Forest LCWIP.
This is the message below we have received from Hampshire county council.

-----------------------------

Dear Stakeholder

I am writing to invite you to respond to the online consultation on the draft Local Walking and Cycling Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) for the New Forest area which is live today and closes on Sunday 3 November 2024.

Hampshire County Council (HCC), New Forest District Council (NFDC), New Forest National Park Authority (NFNPA) and Forestry England have worked together to develop this draft LCWIP to deliver improvements to walking and cycling facilities across the New Forest area. It has been informed by earlier engagement with community representatives and local organisations.

As a key stakeholder in the New Forest area your views and feedback on the routes, zones and proposals within the draft plan are especially welcomed. Please complete the online survey and add your comments to the map which can be found by clicking on the weblink below. Alternatively, you can also email your response directly to Hampshire County Council via email to: engagement.feedback@hants.gov.uk

The link to the consultation webpages can be found here - New Forest LCWIP (arcgis.com)

If you have any queries about the consultation process then feel free to contact me.

Kind regards
Ben Kennedy
